The tribute to Angel Berrueta was made yesterday in the same bakery where he was murdered 9 years ago by a spanish police. The tribute included also Kontxi Sanchiz, a woman who died two days after Angel Berrueta during a protest in Hernani (Gipuzkoa south basque country) where Ertzaintza ussed rubber balls.
"We do not want condems. We only look for the truth, recognition and solution for Angel, he is a political victim". Angel Berrueta's son, Aitor, thanked the support that family have received along the years. During these years, the relatives of Angel Berrueta have suffered anonymous threats.
