International Women's Day

Thousands of people marched yesterday along basque cities streets in the International Women's Day. In Gasteiz (Araba south basque country) the feminist movement have protested using the slogan of "We have enough work, we need decent employment". According to the spokeswoman of the group, when feminist movement talks about work, it is not only the work of production system, "the work is an area much more larger than that". In the protest there have been members of LAB (pro-independence and socialist trade union) and EH Bildu (pro-independence and leftist political parties coalition).

In south basque country, there have been demonstration in the main cities. The different feminist organizations agreed the slogan of "Gora Borroka Feminista!-Long live feminist struggle!"
