Numerous people gathered in front of the prison of Logroño to demand the release of Arnaldo Otegi, Sonia Jacinto, Rafa Diez, Miren Zabaleta and Arkaitz Rodriquez. Those who gathered there denounced that these people find themselves in prison for having practiced politics, for having promoted the strategic turn in the Abertzale Left. For this motive they have spent 1,238 days imprisoned in jails of the Spanish state.

Among those present in front of the prison walls were numerous personalities of Basque politics, and of the trade union, cultural and social worlds. Among those who were there was the parliamentarian of EH Bildu Hasier Arraiz, designated last week as the president of SORTU, the Deputy General of Gipuzkoa, Martin Garitano (Bildu), Rebeka Ubera, Jon Iñarritu, Alberto Unamunzaga, Joseba Permach, Karmelo Landa, Rufi Etxeberria and Txento Jimenez, the trade unionist Jesus Uzkudun, the musician Anje Duhalde, the bertsolari Xabier Amuriza and the director of GARA, Iñaki Soto.

In the act they also read a note sent by those condemned in which they affirmed that reclaiming their freedom is reclaiming the freedom of all the prisoners and for all peoples.
