On 1999, a coalition of basque political parties (Abertzale Left, Batzarre and Zutik) was prepared for regional elections, town's councils elections and European Union elections. ETA had declared a truce on 1998 (then was broken on 2000) and there were new political movements inspired on Irish process. Here the electoral spot of Euskal Herritarrok:
