Mattin Olzomendi released

According to Kazeta, Mattin Olzomendi has been released. Mattin Olzomendi was arrested on 2010 by french police. He was accused of attacking tourism interests and speculators in north basque country. On the same policial operation, eight people were arrested in north basque country and in french state. On the same year, there were another twelve arrests in north basque country linked with that operation.

According to french media, these arrests were linked with the north basque country armed group Irrintzi. Irrintzi was a group that used to use bombs and shoots to attack french state interests and speculators in north basque country. They usually claimed responsibility of the attacks with an slogan: "Euskal Herria ez dago salgai"-"The basque country is not on sale". In their attacks there were not injuried people or dead.

Another basque militant, Peio Irigoien, arrested in those operations was released on July 2012.
