According to naiz, thousands of people participated in the demonstration organized by Herrira (the main organization that fight in favour of basque political prisoners) in Bilbo (Bizkaia south basque country). They protested against the measures that spanish and french states use against basque prisoners. The demonstration was called after the death of Xabier Lopez Peña.
During the demonstration, some people have also claimed justice for Iñigo Cabacas case. Iñigo Cabacas was killed on 2012 by Ertzaintza (basque regional police) when he was celebrating with his friends a football match near of a "Herriko Taberna" (a pub linked with Abertzale left). Other people also required the end of "Parot doctrine".
Herrira asked to the governments the respect of human rights, peace, solution for the conflict and a change in their prison policy.
