According to naiz, 11 skeletons have been recovered in Zigoitia (Araba south basque country). It are the remains of 11 militants executed during the spanish civil war on 1936. Besides, the expert have said that there are more remains but it will be impossible to recover it.
According to the witness, the remains are not of basque militants. They would be members of PCE (spanish communist party) and were from Asturies.
During spanish civil war thousands of basque militants were executed along south basque country. Besides, different prisoners of spanish territories were moved to execute them.
