Right to marriage in north basque country

According to Berria,  hundreds of people celebrated yesterday in Baiona (Lapurdi north basque country) the right to get married between people of the same sex. Different people met in Baiona, feminist militants, CGT (french worker union), LAB (pro-independence and socialist trade union), EHBai members (coalition of pro-independence and leftist political parties in north basque country), PCF militants (french communists) etc. There were also members of "Les Bascos" (an association that fights in favour of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transsexual rights). In front of them, there was a group of people that showed their rejection to that right.

Despite the celebration, the groups in favour of equality said that the right to marriage is a victory, but there are still a lot of struggles.
