A basque political prisoner surrounded by cops during his mother's funeral

According to Ateak Ireki, the basque political prisoner Jokin Santxo has been moved to be in his mother's funeral (she died after an illness). Despite the requests, the prisoner could not visit his mother before her death.
Finally, spanish authorities allowed him to see his mother once she was dead. Jokin Santxo was imprisoned on 1989, he should be released on 2009 but spanish authorities used "Parot Doctrine" so he continues in prison.
