Iker Pastor and Jagoba Apaolaza are two "bertsolari" (a traditional basque singing) who are going to be judged in Madrid by the spanish "Audencia Nacional" (a special court created to fight against basque struggle).
According to GazteIraultza, the two singers participated on 2012 in a demos in favour of basque political prisoners. They sang some "bertsos" to basque political prisioners relatives during the demos. 11 persons are going to be judged by participating in that demonstration (it was with a festive athmosphere). The demonstration was along Gasteiz (Araba south basque country) streets.
The association of Bertsolari in Araba have supported them: "To be judged in the Audencia Nacional by singing bertsoak is totally unacceptable. The culture is necessary for the creator to express their feelings and thoughts and that's why we want to claim the right of express in freedom".
