According to different media of south basque country, UPN (spanish unionist right-wing political party in Nafarroa) main leaders are implicated in different economic scandals. According to the latest leaked information the president of Nafarroa (Yolanda Barcina) and the ex-president of Nafarroa (Miguel Sanz) were charging thousands of euros for attending meetings just to listen (in public companies so their salaries were paid by all Nafarroa people). Besides, if they were not present at that meetings, they continue receiving the money. That special "salaries" were paid between 2009 and 2011. In some that special salaries are more people implicated, like Alberto Catalan (that now is in a struggle for the power in UPN) or Roberto Jimenez (leader of PSOE in Nafarroa).
These scandals are added to other scandals as the disappearance of public bank of Nafarroa, the payment of salaries in the public university without teaching etc.
