According to Ateak Ireki, the mayor of Atarrabia (Nafarroa south basque country), a militant of Herrira (the main basque organization that fights in favour of basque political prisoners rights and another person are going to be judged in Madrid. They are accused of "glorify terrorism". They only showed their solidarity with basque political prisoners during village festivals.
The event was organized by Herrira and the mayor asked respect for the prisoners rights. According to the mayor, UPN (right-wing unionist political party in Nafarroa) uses that cases of repression to hide their corruption.
