Leitza: Campaign to recover Maxurrena

Different organizations, political parties and associations of Leitza (Nafarroa south basque country) have started a campaign to recover Maxurrena. On 2003, a building in the center of the village was occupied by "Guardia Civil" (spanish military police). That building, was delivered to the government of Nafarroa by a person to use it "as cultural center". But spanish government took it to use as "Guardia Civil" headquearters in Leitza.

During 2003-2013 there have been dozens of incidents between "Guardia Civil" and the people. For example, on 2009 an agent started shooting and faked an attack of ETA. They have decided collect signatures to recover Maxurrena (the building) for Leitza's people.
