According to Berria, the french prosecutor have asked the archiving of the Jon Anza case. The prosecutor have said that Jon Anza died by the cancer that he had.

Jon Anza was a militant of ETA that dissapeared on 2009 in french state and his body appeared on 2010. Despite he was ill, he still was member of ETA. According to ETA, Jon Anza dissapeared when he was going to participate in a meet with other militants of ETA. They knew that he was being hunted by Spanish forces. For ETA, he was kidnapped by spanish forces and tortured. During the torture, he died or weakened a lot (he was very ill) and then died. The same week that Jon Anza disappeared, some "Guardia Civil" (spanish military police) forgot their guns in a hotel of Toulouse (his body appeared in Toulouse)
