OVER 700 POLITICAL PRISONERS out of a population of less than 3 million, dispersed in jails hundreds or thousands of kilometers from their families, decades added to their sentences for not renouncing their beliefs, terminally and seriously-ill prisoners kept in jail. SEND THEM HOME!
This is a fundraiser to help families of the prisoners. The night will kick off with some folk music and will be followed by a host of DJs playing a mix of 60s beat & garage; soul; reggae; rocksteady; ska; punk & new wave tunes.
It is taking place on the same day as the annual massive prisoners' solidarity demonstration of hundreds of thousands in Bilbao of which scenes will be shown on the night.
It promises to be a great night and half the money raised goes towards Seomra Spraoi."
