Massive demonstration in support of basque political prisoners in Bilbo (Bizkaia, south basque country). Despite the rain tens of thousands of people have asked spanish and french government to make steps in favour of basque political prisoners rights (release of ill prisoners, end with disperssion etc.). The vans that have to travel hundreds of kilometres with basque prisoners relatives and friends were to the head of the rally: "Giza eskubideak, irtenbidea, bakea. Euskal presoak Euskal Herrira"- "Human rights, solution, peace. Repatriate all basque prisoners".
There were also members of EH Bildu, Abertzaleen Batasuna, CUP (Catalonia), ERC (Catalonia), ELA, LAB etc. Different people came to support the demonstration: Corsicans, Irish, Catalan, Aragon, Occitan, Kurdish etc.
Herrira (the basque main organization that support basque political prisoners rights) members after thank the people that went to the demonstration, have asked to french and spanish government next measures:
- End of disperssion
- End of life imprisonment
- Release of prisoners with serious illnesses
- Release of prisoners that have completed their sentences
- Respect to the rights of basque prisoners and basque refugees
