Spanish army, strike in education and PNV-EAJ

Spanish army in Arbizu
Sakana (Nafarroa South basque country) pro-independence political parties have dennounced spanish army ocupation. Sakana is a valley in the north of Navarre where inhabitants are mainly pro-independence and "euskaldunak" (people who speaks "euskera" or basque). This valley is usually occupied by spanish militar and policial forces. Sometimes, some of Sakana inhabitants have been killed by these occupation forces.

According to Bildu (pro-independence and leftist political parties coalition) spanish army have occupied some towns and mountains. Guardia Civil (spanish militar police) and foral police have placed controls or check-points in the roads and they have threatened people.

Today, different worker unions and "ikasle abertzaleak" (union of basque students) have called a strike in Nafarroa education system. I will update information next hours.

With these protests, Ikasle abertzaleak and unions wants to stop the cuts that Nafarroa's goverment is applying in education system (spanish goverment supports these cuts).

PNV-EAJ (Basque Nationalist Party right-wing) have presented its candidate, Iñigo Urkullu, for the elections of Euskadi (Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa South Basque Country). Iñigo Urkullu have imposed his power in PNV-EAJ (last years there have been clashes between pro-self-determination right sector and autonomist). Iñigo Urkullu supports basque autonomy (not self-determination right) and neoliberal politics.
