International Workers' Day and repression

LAB demonstration
All along basque country there will be important demonstrations in International Workers Day. Pro-independence workers union (LAB, ELA, EHNE etc.) claims for a new social-economic model: Here it works, here is decided. One worker have been arrested (according to witnesses police have used a lot of violence in this arrest) by Ertzaintza when he was asking them to move their car (the worker is a bus driver). Pro-independence and leftist political parties coalition (Ezker Abertzalea, Aralar, EA and Alternatiba) also proposed a new social-economic model: http://www.haysalida.net/

Spanish goverment continues removing workers rights, social cuts and introducing neo-liberal politics in economy.

Spanish workers unions (UGT-CCOO) have also called demonstrations in south-basque country capytals. In Iparralde (north-basque country) french workers unions have also called demonstrations. LAB in iparralde have movilized alone.
