Direct action, political rights, repression and Euskadi

In one of Iruña's neighborhood (Txantrea south basque country) a bank was attacked with petrol bombs. Dozens of poster's supporting ETA also appeared in Txantrea streets.  According to police information, this attack can be connected with the riots of last general strike.

5 youth have been arrested in Iruña. According to police, they are linked with general strike riots. There are going to be more arrests in this month.

"Audencia Nacional" (a special tribunal created to fight against basque struggle) continue with the process against D3M and "askatasuna". This political parties were created to participate in south basque country elections when "Batasuna" (pro-independence and socialist) was illegalized. They are accusated of being linked with ETA (a militant "confessed" that when he was tortured by Guardia Civil).

Antonio Basagoiti (leader of PP in Euskadi) have said that their alliance with PSOE in Euskadi (they govern Euskadi with the support of PP and the ilegalization of Batasuna) have ended.
